The Russian couldn’t predict the round that flew in the air and burst through the head of one of the sentries on the road.

One down. Bwana turned his Barrett a centimeter, aimed at a second guard who fell before he could fire.

That’s Roger’s kill.

He aimed at the next guard and took him out.

The two men worked in near-silence, their shots muffled by the suppressors, as they put their shooting skills to use.

The sentries had no time to react as their bodies fell to the ground. Even if they did, they didn’t have targets to fire at.

The night was quiet, the fields were still, and the shots seemed to come from nowhere.

‘All down,’ Roger said cheerfully.
